  • Overview

    The hotel business functions seven days a week, 24 hours a day. All Team Members must realize this fact and be aware that at all times it may be necessary to move Team Members from their accustomed shift as business demands change. In addition, this is a hospitality business and a hospitable service atmosphere must be projected at all times.

    Responsibilities

    • Actively builds rapport/business relationships with clientele
    • Receives and books direct inquiries for reservations
    • Maximize revenues through effective reservation management
    • Record guest preferences for guest history database and recognition program
    • Coordinate reservations for holidays and special events
    • Sale and Coordinate special groups events
    • Actively greets guests and ensures guests are recognized by name at all times
    • Communicate guest requests and issues to General Manager and/or Executive Chef

    Qualifications

    • Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English and Spanish, both written and oral
    • Previous hotel, restaurant or guest contact experience required
    • Ability to operate reservation system
    • Ability to do multiple tasks
    • Exhibit excellent phone etiquette
